An Evening in the Great Hall and Fall Ithra - Nov 10, 2007
Shire of Coeur Du Val Nov 10, 2007 The University of Ithra will be Hosting Classes during the day, on such diverse topics as: Chivalry and Etiquette, Survey of Medieval Sciences, Intro to the SCA (Required for Ithra degrees!) Blackwork embroidery, Caligraphy and Illumination, Songs and Ballads, and persona Development. Preregistration for Ithra Classes is required and can be achieved at www.ithra.antir.sca.org .
At 6:00, a sumptuous feast will be served. The Finest musicians and Storytellers of An tir will regale you with their craft. The evening’s festivities will conclude with a dance! Please note that the feast portion of this event is a demonstration of the non-fighting aspects of the SCA, that members of the modern community are welcome and encouraged to attend. Gold Key will be available! We ask that you bring your projects, your artwork and your merry conversation to share with our modern cousins. Tickets for the Feast are $15.00 for adults, $7.00 for Children. A $3.00 Surcharge will be charged to non-members. Pre-registration is required, contact the autocrat for more details! Site opens at 8:30 for Ithra Classes, 5:00 for Feasters. Site closes for everyone at 9:00. The Site is the Church of the Good Samaritan, 333 NW 35th Street, Corvallis, Oregon. From I-5: Take exit number 228 and head west towards Corvallis, you will be on OR-34 (Corvallis-Lebanon Hwy.) OR-34 splits as you reach Corvallis and turns into NW Harrison Blvd. Continue straight on Nw Harrison and turn left onto NW 35th.
